MuslimEyes is a 100% serverless, client-side, offline-first extension. We do not collect, track, store, or transmit any user data, personal information, or browsing history to external servers.

storage: To save your custom settings, blocked websites, Kanban tasks, and scratchpad notes locally.alarms: To compute prayer timetables and schedule timely background reminders (e.g. Adhan alerts, wellness posture or eye breaks).notifications: To show native desktop toast banners when a prayer time starts or a wellness interval is reached.webNavigation: Required exclusively to intercept navigation to adult/gambling websites and redirect to the lowering-the-gaze page before any inappropriate content is rendered.<all_urls> (Host Permissions): Necessary for the client-side Privacy Guard. This lets the extension inject content scripts to block ads, block analytical trackers, and scan web media elements locally on the browser to apply a Gaussian blur filter on inappropriate media. All scanning is done locally on your machine and no data is shared.Since we do not collect or store any information, we do not share, sell, trade, or distribute any user data to third parties under any circumstances.
MuslimEyes does not collect personal information from anyone, including children. It is safe and designed to protect all age groups from inappropriate content while browsing.
